This document is the KVKK Aydınlatma Metni (Clarification Text) and GDPR compliance statement prepared by Patiento. The legally binding Turkish text follows below.

Data Controller and Processor

Patiento acts as a data processoron behalf of the clinics that use our platform (“Clinics”). Each Clinic is the data controller for the patient data processed through our Service.

Purposes of Processing

We process personal data on behalf of Clinics for the following purposes:

  • Managing patient communications through messaging channels.
  • Generating AI-assisted responses based on Clinic-provided protocols and templates.
  • Qualifying patient leads and managing conversation flows.
  • Providing analytics and reporting to Clinics.

Data Categories

Categories of personal data processed may include:

  • Identity information (name, contact details)
  • Communication records (messages, images, media)
  • Health-related data shared by patients in conversations
  • Transaction and usage data

Data Transfer

Personal data may be transferred to cloud infrastructure providers and messaging platform providers (e.g., WhatsApp/Meta) as necessary to deliver the Service. All transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards in compliance with KVKK.

Data Collection Method

Personal data is collected through the Patiento platform when Clinics connect their messaging channels and patients interact with those channels.

Your Rights Under KVKK and GDPR

Under Article 11 of KVKK, data subjects have the right to:

  • Learn whether their personal data is being processed.
  • Request information if their data has been processed.
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly.
  • Know the third parties to whom data is transferred.
  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion or destruction of data.
  • Object to automated decision-making based on processed data.
  • Request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
